I have 2 questions

1 . User panther said installing graphic drivers found in rpm fusion is better than installing the ones found in Nvidia's website. Hi Panther, rpm fusion creates the driver for Nvidia themselves (by volunteer developers) or they just take the driver created by Nvidia and repackages it ?

2. When I downloaded the driver for my graphics card (link below) , it comes as a .run file. I opened the .run file using a text editor. The first 1083 lines is a shell script, after that , I can see junk characters which is think is the driver's binary. How will linux distinguish between these two ? https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/139110
