As long as you do not use Chrome or any Google desktop applications, you should be safe as far as I am aware. The code is all open source for Fedora (vanilla) and if you are really determined, you can go look around. That's also the main reason Google can't just sneak in some code into the vanilla OS.

Once you start installing 3rd party applications, you run that risk of data sharing, but at that point, you're out of the Fedora domain (open source).

Stick to an open source browser and make sure you have some nice addons/extensions installed and that should suffice.
