That is on purpose! For whatever reason, MS doesn't want you to use Firefox on Linux.
I just tested it by installing a User Agent Switcher, which is a little Addon that changes the string which tells the server what type of client is connecting. There are many different User Agent Switcher Addons available.
When I switch the User Agent to "MS Win / FF56" or "Mac / Safari 10.x", onenote.com displays just fine!
So, I would recommend to use one of these User Agents whenever you take notes with onenote.com
