Your cpu speed shows max 3.1ghz but current shows 1.2ghz. it might be that the speedstep feature is not enabling, which prevents the faster cpu speed, to help with decreasing the load. Make sure speedstep or turbo boost is enabled in bios.

Also check your opengl drivers, my glxrender is 4.5 and yours shows to be using 3.03.0 You could also chamge DE tp cinnamon, that is what i use, and never seems to get bogged down.
