No need to install Oracle Java JDK. Use OpenJDK as can be downloaded from the Fedora package servers.

The location of OpenJDK is /usr/lib/jvm/java-openjdk.

Read http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqRunningOnJre for passing it to NeatBeans.

Don't forget to install java-1.8.0-openjdk

I discovered this folder using the command rpm -ql java-1.8.0-openjdk
